AeroShell 22 Multi-Purpose Synthetic Grease

Where extreme operating conditions are present, such as high bearing loads, high speeds, a wide operating temperature range, and especially where long grease retention and strong resistance to water washout are required, AeroShell Grease 22 is recommended for use.

Aircraft wheel bearings, engine accessories, control systems, actuators, screw-jacks, servo mechanisms, electric motors, helicopter rotor bearings, instrumentation, airframe lubrication, hinge pins, static joints, and landing gears are just a few of the numerous applications.

AeroShell Grease 22 should not come into contact with incompatible seal materials, as it contains a synthetic hydrocarbon oil.

AeroShell 5 Wheel Bearing Grease

AeroShell Grease 5 is ideal for lubricating aircraft and engine accessories that operate at high speeds and moderate temperatures, such as magnetos, generators, and starters. It is highly effective as a wheel bearing grease, especially at high landing speeds. Sufficient time should be allowed for the grease to channel during the lubrication of rolling bearings, which must begin at temperatures as low as –18°C.

AeroShell Grease 5 is widely used as a standard grease on piston-engine propeller systems, too.

AeroShell 41 Hydraulic Fluid

Red mineral-based hydraulic fluid used in legacy aircraft and flight control systems.

AeroShell Fluid 41 is designed for use as a hydraulic fluid in all contemporary aircraft applications requiring mineral-based hydraulic fluids, most commonly in landing gear hydraulic systems. AeroShell Fluid 41 can be used in aviation systems running unpressurized between 54°C and 90°C (-65°F to 194°F) and pressurized between -54°C and 135°C (65°F to 275°F). It is especially advisable to use a "superclean" fluid to improve component durability.

AeroShell Fluid 41 must not be used in systems containing natural rubber; instead, it should be used in systems containing synthetic rubber components.

AeroShell Fluids 31, 61, and LGF are compatible with AeroShell Fluid 41. Hydraulic components that use AeroShell Fluid 41 should not be cleaned with chlorinated solvents.

ROYCO 756 (MIL-PRF-5606) Hydraulic Fluid

Petroleum-based hydraulic fluid is specified across many military and legacy platforms.

Royco 756 is a red-dyed mineral oil-based hydraulic fluid, designed to meet the demanding requirements of industrial and aeronautical applications.

Royco 756 contains additives that provide outstanding anti-wear, oxidation/corrosion inhibition, shear stability, and low-temperature fluidity. This high-viscosity-index fluid also contains foam inhibitors and metal deactivators to improve performance in numerous general-purpose hydraulic applications.

ROYCO 560 HTS Turbine Engine Oil

MIL-PRF-23699 synthetic turbine oil for modern turbine aircraft engines.

Royco 560 is a 5-centistoke synthetic lubricating oil for gas turbine engines. Royco 560 was developed to meet the growing requirements of the latest, most sophisticated gas turbine engines.

Royco 560 is credited with notable reductions in maintenance costs and downtime through the introduction of engines with higher bypass ratios, higher thrust, and higher operating temperatures and pressures.

By combining greater thermal-oxidative stability with lower carbon-residue generation, Royco 560 outperforms conventional Type II MIL-PRF-23699 Class STD fluids. Better engine performance and longer intervals between routine maintenance are the result. Older engines designed for MIL-PRF-23699 Class STD fluids may use Royco 560.

RTV 3145 Silicone Adhesive and Sealant

Clear or gray RTV is used for avionics potting, electrical sealing, and general aircraft sealing.

DOWSIL 3145 RTV one-part moisture cure adhesives can be cured at ambient temperature and 30 to 80 percent relative humidity, reducing the requirement for curing furnaces and associated expenditures (energy and capital). Typically, more than 90% of complete physical properties are achieved within 24 to 72 hours, though this varies by substance. Adhesive and component handling can be completed in 10 to 120 minutes, depending on the adhesive type and amount applied, resulting in faster manufacturing throughput.

We carry it in both clear and gray to suit your needs!

RTV 106 High-Temperature Silicone Sealant

Red high-temp RTV is commonly used in engine compartments, baffling, and exhaust-adjacent areas.
RTV106 is red. It's one part, and it's a moisture-cured silicone sealant. RTV106 is rated for continuous service from -60°C to 260°C, which translates to -76°F up to 500°F. It is approved for intermittent exposure to 590°F (315 °C).

These ratings make a great choice for engine baffling, exhaust adjacent sealing, and other areas where heat cycling destroys standard-duty RTVs.

At room temperature and roughly 50% relative humidity, RTV106 reaches a tack-free state in 15 to 30 minutes and has a full functional cure in about a day. Before cure, cleanup is very straightforward with NAF or MEK. After cure, this flexible silicone film maintains a Shore A hardness of 30 and a tensile strength of 375 lb/in².
