1. SITUATION

1.A. Operational Environment

In CONUS domestic operations involving disaster response, relief, and emergency sheltering, field hygiene is a high priority and exceptionally hard to accommodate. Water is almost always scarce in these circumstances, and shower facilities are usually either delayed (highly dependent on the condition or existence of roadways and infrastructure) or non-existent. 

From hurricanes and wildfires to cold-weather emergencies and evacuations, river flooding, tornado events, and terrorist attacks, the hygiene gap threatens operational effectiveness and overall public health. And there aren’t many options without water…until now.  

1.B. Civilian Impact Zones

Displaced populations include people from all walks of life: the elderly, children, the medically vulnerable, and the rank-and-file working class of the community. All demographics need immediate hygiene solutions, especially in these hot months of the year. Gentle hygiene products are a high priority, as skin issues are common in the aftermath of disasters. 

These problems are compounded in temporary shelters where hundreds or thousands of people are crammed into a communal area with little or no water for washing. The ability to clean up without water is clutch, and DUDE Wipes is the scalable solution. 

2. MISSION

The mission is to deploy DUDE Wipes in bulk for emergency and disaster response teams, and Greenwood Aerospace is the procurement and distribution partner. 3.A. Concept of Operations

DUDE Wipes makes an extra-large (35% larger than standard baby wipes), pre-moistened, flushable hygiene wipes and waterless shower wipes for full-body cleaning and hygiene. They are made with 99% water and plant-based ingredients, and are enriched with aloe vera and vitamin E for that sensitive skin. 

All of their products are alcohol and paraben-free and are designed to break down after flushing. Even the most sensitive skin will enjoy DUDE Wipes products' smooth and cool feeling. 

Product Variants:
- DUDE Wipes Unscented: standard products, suitable for all environments and conditions.
-DUDE Wipes Mint Chill has a cooling effect, which is great for hot weather conditions when rashy skin has you down.
-DUDE Shower Wipes are larger, highly absorbent wipes made for full-body cleaning. They are still fully biodegradable.
