The FAA’s Flight Inspection program is a core task of the FAA. The flight check department inspects over 5,500 navigational facilities annually, racking up over 20,000 flight hours. They operate a mixed fleet of more than thirty airplanes out of OKC and several other branch locations, where they fly coast-to-coast for NAVAID and procedural fight checks.
